Monsters travel to Rochester to face Americans

After Friday night’s game was postponed, the Cleveland Monsters return to action Saturday in Rochester against the Americans.

With Friday’s game between the Monsters and Griffins postponed, Cleveland will have an extra day to prepare for their road trip to Rochester to take on the Americans. The first of two games in Rochester will take place Saturday as the Monsters hope to continue their winning ways.

Rochester comes in with X points in 16 games on the year and are X-X-X-X in their last 10 games. The Americans being winners/losers of their last game X-X. Cleveland is currently in second place in the AHL Central with 17 points in 14 games, with a 7-3 record over the same period.

The Monsters took the last matchup with the Americans, a 5-1 win in Rochester March 31st. Jake Christiansen, Gavin Bayreuther, Tyler Sikura, Josh Dunne, and Zach Jordan were the goalscorers for Cleveland while Brad Thiessen saved 23 of 24 shots on goal.
