
Guardians lease extension finalized
The lease extension for the Cleveland Guardians has been finalized following the approval from the City of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County.
Housekeeping note: The Guardians’ lease extension/renovation plan for Progressive Field has been finalized, following city and county approval. They’re tethered to Cleveland through 2036, with an option to extend it through 2046.

This comes following the name change to Guardians with renovation plans on deck. The team will remain in Cleveland through 2036 with the option for it to last an additional 10 years.
