The road trip continues for the Cleveland Baseball Club as they travel to Cincinnati to take on the Reds at Great American Ball Park.

It was triumphant win for the Cleveland Baseball Club on Thursday as they earned a series split with the Chicago White Sox. Cleveland will be looking to carry that momentum into the weekend as they square off with the Cincinnati Reds.

It will be the third start of the year for Logan Allen as he looks for a repeat performance of his last start which saw him allow only 1 run on 2 hits in a 5-2 victory over Detroit. A similar performance for Allen Friday would put Cleveland in position to take Game 1.

Cincinnati’s starter is Jeff Hoffman, also making his third start of the season. Hoffman failed to make it out of the 5th inning against Arizona in a 8-3 loss. In previous matchups Hoffman has kept some Cleveland bats in check in 32 at-bats. Austin Hedges does have a home run for his only hit in 7 at-bats against Hoffman while the other four hits in Cleveland’s lineup were all singles. A better performance across the board will be needed from Cleveland in order to come away with a win.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 P.M. at Great American Ball Park.
