Guardians make two trades

The Cleveland Guardians made two trades Monday, sending players to two division rivals in the National League Central.

After designating a handful of players for assignment, the Cleveland Guardians have made trades with two of those players.

First Cleveland sent pitcher J.C. Mejia to the Milwaukee Brewers per Jon Morosi.

The second trade was to another NL Central team, the Cubs, as they acquired outfielder Harold Ramirez.

Moving on from both players is not surprising from the Guardians perspective. In order to get back on an upward trend this team will have to add players that are of higher caliber than these two.
