Browns sign Cade York to rookie deal

The Cleveland Browns have signed 2022 fourth round draft selection Cade York to his rookie contract.

York is the latest in the long line of kickers the Browns will give a shot to fill the shoes of fan favorite Phil Dawson. York made 81.8% (54-66) of his field goals and 97.6% (164-168) of his extra points during his three years at LSU. The former Tiger missed just three field goals per year over his last two seasons and did not miss a PAT over that same span

Cade York has been sensational during minicamp, making long kick after long kick with room to spare. While far from being an actual game situation, seeing this is exciting considering the names the team has trotted out in recent years.

Browns fans everywhere are hoping that they have found their answer to the outstanding kickers around the division in Justin Tucker and Evan McPherson.
