Denzel Ward leaves practice due to injury
Cleveland Browns cornerback Denzel Ward walked to the sideline and subsequently to the locker room with an injury Thursday. Ward received some treatment from a trainer prior to making his way to the locker room. Head coach Kevin Stefanski did not have an update when questioned about Ward’s status.
Considering that the trainer did not spend an extended time with Ward in the locker room there is not a need to panic at this time. Ward is one of the best cornerbacks in the league and should he miss any significant time it would be a big blow to the Browns defense.
