Browns place two players on reserve/COVID-19 list
The Cleveland Browns have placed Dontrell Hilliard and Jovante Moffatt on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Cleveland Browns running back Dontrell Hilliard and safety Jovante Moffatt have been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The team made the announcement Sunday.
The follow up tweet the Browns explain the purpose of the list and that they are not permitted to reveal the status of a player in regards to COVID-19. A player who tests positive for COVID-19 is placed on the list in addition to someone who was in contact with an infected person.
Hilliard and Moffatt are two of six players who have been placed on this list so far. Members of the Ravens, Bengals, Cowboys, and Chiefs have also been placed on the list. The amount and rate of players who end up on this list will certainly have an impact on the upcoming NFL season.
