Browns agree to deal with Jakeem Grant
The Cleveland Browns have agreed to terms on a three-year deal with return specialist Jakeem Grant according to reports. Grant split last season with the Dolphins and Bears.
This is a big upgrade in the return game for the Browns as they have been trying to fill that role since Josh Cribbs was in town. Cleveland trotted out the likes of Demetric Felton, Anthony Schwartz, Donovan Peoples-Jones, JoJo Natson, and Ja’Marcus Bradley at various times last season without any of them securing the job.
Jakeem Grant is a two-time second-team All-Pro return man and a Pro-Bowler in 2021 with four career punt return touchdowns and two kick return touchdowns. Bringing in Grant elevates their return units, something the team desperately needed.
