Nick Chubb out Thursday vs. Denver
The Cleveland Browns will be without their starting running against the Denver Broncos.
For the second straight week Nick Chubb will not be playing. Chubb missed last week’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals due to a calf injury the week prior. With Kareem Hunt also out for a significant amount of time it will be D’Ernest Johnson receiving his first career start for the Browns.
RB Nick Chubb (calf) will miss his second consecutive game Thursday, coach Kevin Stefanski just said. With Kareem Hunt (calf) on IR, RB D’Ernest Johnson to get his first career start. #Browns

Johnson has 198 rushing yards on 40 career attempts in 38 career games so he has some big shoes to fill with Nick Chubb absent.
