Damarious Randall

Damarious Randall is Cleveland’s hero

It is a rather safe bet that Browns safety Damarious Randall is not a fan of Hue Jackson. It is also safe to assume that Randall is aware of how much better the team is without their former coach.

That is why Damarious Randall called out the Bengals and stated they would get their ass beat without A.J. Green. Green missed the contest and the Browns won 35-20. Cleveland outplayed Cincinnati all game long and were clearly the better football team on Sunday.

The highlight of the game occurred during the first quarter. Randall intercepted a pass from Andy Dalton. Randall ran out of bounds on the return and immediately handed the ball to his former coach.

Randall trolled Jackson in the best way possible. Randall did not stop there. A fan showed up to the game with a banner of Jackson appearing as Dwight Schrute from The Office, Randall autographed the banner.

Fellow defensive back Jabrill Peppers commented that Randall had a clear lane to return the interception for touchdown. Instead Randall decided to hand the ball off to Jackson. Peppers appeared to be entertained by the act even though a touchdown would have been an exclamation point on a dominant performance from Cleveland. Good thing the Browns won the game, it would be a tough loss if trolling Jackson would have cost the Browns a win.

Damarious Randall is the hero Browns fans need

Right now Damarious Randall is a hero in Cleveland. A statue is overkill, but maybe it is time to put up a banner of Randall handing the ball to Jackson in the space the famous LeBron James banner once occupied. Chris McNeil aka Reflog_18 on Twitter believes so and many others agree.

Damarious Randall only had to deal with Hue Jackson’s nonsense for a portion of a season and deemed what he did necessary. Imagine if others who have been there since Jackson became the head coach did displayed how they felt,  it might be an even worse look for Jackson. Cleveland embraces his actions as the city had to deal with his awful coaching for far too long. Troll on Damarious Randall, troll on.
