Contrary to the reports of some and suggestions of others, the Cleveland Browns are not looking to trade Odell Beckham Jr.
Sometimes all it takes is one jackass to say or suggest something and everything goes off the rails. This is exactly what is happening with the trade rumors around the Cleveland Browns and Odell Beckham Jr.
There is no truth to the trade rumors. The Cleveland Browns are not looking to trade one of the most talented players in the league.
Even with the confirmation that the Browns are not shopping him it will not stop people of trying to force a narrative. Trying to tear apart a team due to personal differences with other people on the team.
This is Colin Cowherd.
Colin Cowherd stated that the Browns are trying to force this Odell Beckham Jr. thing to work and that they should trade him. This is preposterous. This is nonsense. Colin Cowherd should not be taken seriously.
Cowherd is just using this as more ammunition to take shots at the Browns and Baker Mayfield. An act which has become a daily routine for this delusional individual.
The Browns offense has struggled this season. Some of that is on the shoulders of Baker Mayfield. The other part is the offense is utilizing concepts that the Browns are not equipped to run. This should improve as the season progresses.
Has Odell Beckham Jr. put up the numbers that a lot of people expected? No, but if anyone with a brain looked at the situation and how Baker Mayfield likes to play quarterback this should not come as a surprise. Mayfield finds the open receiver and does not need to force feed one player.
Odell Beckham Jr. will get his targets and his catches. Just because it is not what the causal fan expected does not mean it is a disappointment. His numbers were expected to dip with the plethora of talent on the roster. Those who expected Beckham to match or exceed his previous numbers are just showing how little they know about football.
