Will Lochead signs PTO with Monsters
The Cleveland Monsters have signed 23-year old defenseman to a professional tryout contract the team announced Thursday.
This is the time of year where teams in the AHL such as the Cleveland Monsters sign players to professional tryout contracts. That is just what the team did Thursday after agreeing to a deal with defenseman Will Lochead.
Will Lochead has some previous experience in the American Hockey League, playing the 2019-20 season with Springfield Thunderbirds. During that year Lochead finished with 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists) in 28 games. Last season was another 28-game campaign for Lochead, but it was with the Allen Americans of the ECHL. All 5 of Lochead’s points in the East Coast Hockey League last season came on assists.
