Two roster moves for Monsters
The Cleveland Monsters have announced two roster moves with one player heading up to Columbus.
An announcement by the Cleveland Monsters sees the goaltending position continue to change on the fly. Jean-Francois Berube has been added to the Taxi Squad of the Columbus Blue Jackets due to Daniil Tarasov landing on injured reserve and Elvis Merzlikins being temporarily unavailable.
In order to fill the now vacant roster spot in Cleveland, the Monsters have signed goaltender Evan Moyse to a professional tryout contract. The Olmsted Falls native has played for the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL in addition to the Vermillion County Bobcats and Knoxville Ice Bears of the SPHL this season. Should Moyse make an appearance for the Monsters, it would be his first action in the AHL.
