Brian Cashman is doing what he usually does, looking to upgrade the Yankees pitching staff and Cleveland is an obvious trade partner for New York. Cleveland currently has two pitchers who are talented, but not with the team in Mike Clevinger and Zach Plesac. The focus of the report does appear to be Clevinger.
