Multiple Guardians roster moves
The Cleveland Guardians have made a handful of roster moves which includes calling up highly regarded prospect Gabriel Arias.
Arias has 10 hits including four doubles and one home run in nine games for Triple-A Columbus this season with a slash line of .278/.350/.472.
In addition the Guardians calling up Arias, Cleveland has placed Cal Quantrill, Owen Miller, and Anthony Castro have been placed on the injured list. It was later reported that Quantrill, Miller, Castro, and Yu Chang have been placed on the COVID-IL.
Kirk McCarty, Tanner Tully, and Enyel De Los Santos have been called up as well.
Cleveland has a doubleheader Thursday against the Chicago White Sox with the third and final game taking place Thursday. The Guardians roster could be interesting moving forward based upon how long the aforementioned players remain on the injured list.
