Mike Clevinger to start Wednesday vs. Twins

The Cleveland Baseball Club will recall starting pitcher Mike Clevinger to start Wednesday when they will face the Minnesota Twins.

A familiar face will return to the Cleveland Baseball Club rotation Wednesday, Mike Clevinger.

Clevinger was sent to the Alternate Training Site after his actions in Chicago.

The last time Mike Clevinger appeared in a game was on August 5th against the Cincinnati Reds. Clevinger has been pitching while at Lake County, but it is not quite the same as game action.

Clevinger has a 3.24 ERA, 1.320 WHIP, and 8.1 K/9 in 16.2 innings this season. His abilities will be put to the test Wednesday against a very potent Twins lineup. Max Kepler (2), Jorge Polanco, Eddie Rosario, Miguel Sano, Ehire Adrianza, and Alex Avila all have homered off of Clevinger. The Bomba Squad could very well tee off again when facing Sunshine.
