The restricted free agent wide receiver signed his restricted free agent tender Wednesday.
There was a little bit of a question about whether or not KhaDarel Hodge would be back with the Cleveland Browns this season. That question was answered today as Hodge signed his restricted free agent tender to keep him in Cleveland for the upcoming season, the tender is worth just over $2.1 million.
KhaDarel Hodge has been with the Browns for the past two seasons and has 15 receptions for 256 yards. Hodge played a career-high 27% of offensive snaps this past season with Cleveland. This is partially due to the absence of Odell Beckham Jr. and the overall need for competent depth wide receivers. Hodge seemed to be more than capable of being a depth guy among the wide receiver group with OBJ, Jarvis Landry, and Rashard Higgins being the top three guys on the depth chart.
