Greedy Williams not expected to play
The Cleveland Browns cornerback is not expected to play.
There was some hope that Greedy Williams would make his return to Cleveland’s secondary after returning to practice earlier this week but it was not meant to be. The Browns cornerback is not expected to play in Week 5 when they take on the Los Angeles Chargers.
Without Greedy Williams it will make slowing down Los Angeles’ high powered passing game that much more difficult. Even if Williams were to play it would not be an easy task shutting down Justin Herbert. It will be up to the rest of Cleveland’s secondary to pull together and play at a high level. Getting on the same page and avoiding coverage lapses will be key if they are going to have a chance.
