Emil Bemstrom activated, sent to Cleveland
The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated the 22-year old from injured reserve and assigned him to Cleveland.
Emil Bemstrom has been activated from injured reserve, but will have to wait to make his season debut. The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned Bemstrom to the Cleveland Monsters for the time being.

Emil Bemstrom is yet to appear in a game this season, but appeared in 20 games for Columbus last season. Bemstrom fisniehd with three assists and two goals for the Blue Jackets during the 2020-21 season.
Additionally, in need of a goaltender for Thursday’s game in Dallas, Columbus has recalled Daniil Tarasov.
Both #CBJ goaltenders, Elvis Merzlikins and Joonas Korpisalo are sick, non-COVID, unlikely to play tonight vs. #Stars.
Daniil Tarasov has been recalled from @monstershockey and is likely to make his #NHL debut tonight.
If possible, Merzlikins will serve as his back-up.
