Cleveland Cavaliers sign Ed Davis

The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed veteran big man Ed Davis to a contract.

As the regular season is drawing near, the Cleveland Cavaliers have made another addition to their roster signing veteran big man Ed Davis to a non-guaranteed deal per reports.

According to Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com, Cavaliers head coach J.B. Bickerstaff pushed for the signing of Ed Davis. The addition of Davis to their roster gives the team a much needed veteran presence on the roster.

Ed Davis appeared in 23 games for the Minnesota Timberwolves last season, averaging 2.1 points and 5 rebounds in 13 minutes per game.
