Cavaliers waive Kabengele and Thomas

The Cleveland Cavaliers have waived two players as they prepare for the start of the regular season.

The NBA preseason is winding down and the Cleveland Cavaliers are working on trimming down their roster as the regular season approaches. Cavs General Manager Koby Altman announced that the team waived center Mfiondu Kabengele and guard Brodric Thomas.

It is possible that both players remain in the organization as the team does have two-way contract spots available as noted by Evan Dammarell.
