Cavaliers look to snap losing streak in Detroit

After two straight losses, the Cleveland Cavaliers are looking for a better outcome as they travel to Detroit to take on the Pistons.

Saturday was a less than optimal outcome for the Cleveland Cavaliers as they lost to the Bulls 106-96. Cleveland now travels to Detroit in search for a better result against the Pistons.

This will be the third and final matchup with Detroit for Cleveland as they are looking to sweep the season series. Their last matchup was back on January 27th as Collin Sexton and Darius Garland combined for 43 points. The rosters are a bit different this time around as Andre Drummond and Derrick Rose will not be playing Monday night.

Like Cleveland, Detroit has been struggling as of late. The Pistons are 4-6 over their last 10 games while the Cavaliers are 3-7. Both teams give up about the same amount of points per game, 111.1 for Cleveland and 111.4 for Detroit. The Pistons do average a few more points per game with 107.6 compared to Cleveland’s 103.8.

This game is more about draft lottery odds than any last gasp for the Cavaliers of making the play-in tournament. Cleveland’s season is all but over and the remaining games on the schedule are just a formality.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. at Little Caesar’s Arena in Detroit.
