Cade York AFC Special Teams POTW

The Cleveland Browns rookie kicker been named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Cade York made all of his kicks (four field goals, two extra-points) including the game-winning kick to end the Browns Week 1 losing streak. York’s performance in Cleveland’s win over Carolina earned him AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors.

There was some concern going into the contest about the York’s leg as it was reportedly tired following the preseason. The team allowed York to rest after the third preseason game, ramping up in preparation for Week 1. Safe to say that the leg of Cade York is more than fine and it appears that the Browns long search for a kicker may have finally come to a much overdue conclusion.
