At long last the Cleveland Browns unveiled their midfield logo for the upcoming season.
The Cleveland Browns allowed fans to vote on the midfield logo for the 2022-23 season and the winner is Brownie The Elf. Not just any version of Brownie, the original incarnation which dates all the way back to 1946.
The internet has been incredibly divided over the logo, but it is a breath of fresh air when comparing other midfield logos. Between standard logos used by other teams, the absence of logos, and the NFL shield, an alternate throwback version of Brownie The Elf showcases variety among the landscape of the same-old same-old. Brownie’s cartoonish quality harkens back to the time of logos not taking themselves too seriously, resulting in the best midfield logo in the NFL.
