Browns: Three players ruled out for Thursday

The Cleveland Browns have already ruled out three players for their matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday night.

Kevin Stefanski met with the media Monday, revealing that he has ruled out three players for Thursday’s game. The Browns will be without the services of Jadeveon Clowney, Chase Winovich, and Jesse James when they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cleveland’s defensive depth will be tested as they are down two defensive ends. Outside of Myles Garrett it is a rather uninspiring group on the Browns defensive line. The much maligned Joe Woods will have to get creative if he hopes to continue generating pressure at the current rate.

Classifying this contest as a “must win” seems a bit premature, but with the collapse against the Jets Sunday their already slim margin for error has become virtually non-existent. Simply put, losing to the Steelers is unacceptable in more ways than one. Not having Clowney in addition to Winovich and James will make things more difficult for a team that is currently teetering.
