Browns sign Jacoby Brissett to one-year deal
The Cleveland Browns have signed Jacoby Brissett to a one-year deal to be their backup quarterback. This comes after the trade that sent Case Keenum to Buffalo.
Brissett will be the backup quarterback and possible fill-in should the recently acquired Deshaun Watson receive a suspension from the NFL.
Jacoby Brissett is an experienced veteran quarterback who has started for the Patriots, Colts, and Dolphins since entering the league in 2016. Brissett completed 141 of 225 passes for 1,283 yards, five touchdowns, and four interceptions in 11 games for the Dolphins last season.
