Browns extend Charley Hughlett
The Cleveland Browns have signed their long snapper to a four year contract extension.
Charley Hughlett has signed a new deal to remain with the Cleveland Browns. The four-year contract extension is notable for having the largest values in multiple areas such as signing bonus and value.
The signing bonus is $865,000 according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Charley Hughlett has been with the Browns since 2015 taking over for former long snapper Christian Yount. Hughlett previously signed a six-year contract extension in 2017. With that extension coming to an end and wanting to keep Hughlett on the roster, it made sense for Cleveland to agree to terms with their long time long snapper.
