Browns, Deion Jones revise contract
The Cleveland Browns and newly acquired linebacker Deion Jones have agreed to revise his contract. Jones will now be able to become a free agent at the conclusion of the season instead of being under contract for one more year. The two sides agreed to eliminate the 2023 season from his deal.
Should Deion Jones be able to rediscover his form and be a productive player he will be able to cash in on a new deal (most likely elsewhere). This would be a win for both sides as Cleveland’s defense is beyond dreadful and Jones needs to rebuild his value.
