Browns – Chargers final injury report

This is the final injury report prior to Sunday’s contest between the Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Chargers.

There is a little bit of clarity in regards to who is and who is not available for Sunday. It appears that the Browns will have the services of Myles Garrett with the potential that his two defensive line mates (Jadeveon Clowney, Taven Bryan) could also make their return to the starting lineup. Clowney did make his return to practice and it certainly appears that he should be available. Los Angeles will be without Keenan Allen which will give Cleveland one less target in the passing game to worry about.

The Chargers are favored going into this game and that is not much of a surprise. Justin Herbert has been locked in to start the season and the Browns defense has not been strong. One thing the Browns learned in their loss to Atlanta is that a talent gap can close leading to the team that is favored coming up short. Like Cleveland, Los Angeles is 2-2 on the year and they are far from a healthy bunch. If they were just missing Allen it would be one thing, but it is Allen, Rashawn Slater, and Joey Bosa. Perhaps that could be just enough to tip the scales in the Browns favor once the game actually begins.
