On Tuesday it was Dallas Keuchel who spoke out about the Cleveland Guardians lack of spending. Now on Wednesday it is Joc Pederson. While Keuchel was quoted by a reporter for the White Sox, Pederson opted to use his Twitter account and did not pull any punches.
Pederson echoed the sentiment of fans who have been frustrated with how the Guardians operate. Using words such as “embarrassed” and “unacceptable” while suggesting that if the team is not able to better they should sell to an ownership group that can be.
This is a rough moment for the franchise as they are receiving harsh criticism yet again and this time from a player they were rumored to be interested in. To this point Cleveland has not done much which prompts responses such as this from Pederson. At some point an addition must be made to this roster. If not, it is going to be a long season on the corner Carnegie and Ontario.
