Browns

5 questionable, 2 out for Browns vs Chiefs

The Cleveland Browns have five players listed as questionable and two designated as out for Sunday’s season opener in Kansas City.

The season opener is just days away and as expected the Cleveland Browns have some injuries they are dealing with. Currently the team has five players listed as questionable, Odell Beckham Jr., Jadeveon Clowney, Grant Delpit, Ronnie Harrison, and JC Tretter.

Additionally the Browns have listed Michael Dunn and Tony Fields II as out.

In regards to Dunn and Fields, they were not expected to play a factor in the final result on Sunday. The same came not be said about the players listed as questionable. Beckham and Tretter being the two most important names in the questionable category. When asked about Beckham, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski wouldn’t give a definite answer about his status at this time. Choosing instead to say that they will let everyone know 90 minutes before the game.

It is highly unlikely that Beckham’s status will change between now and Sunday afternoon. This is mostly just gamesmanship on Stefanski’s part, making Kansas City account for an offense with and without Beckham. There is also the fact that Cleveland could plan on using Beckham in some sort of decoy role which would throw a wrench in both defensive strategies for the Chiefs.
