Browns

Browns at Chiefs for season opener

It will be an AFC Divisional Round rematch as the Cleveland Browns will travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs in Week 1. The game will take place at 4:25 P.M. https://twitter.com/twithersAP/status/1392446934930141184?s=20 This game will have a different feel as the Chiefs should have Patrick Mahomes for all four quarters this time around. The presence of Mahomes should be a test for the new look Browns defense. Cleveland has made considerable improvements to their secondary which should benefit them in this matchup. As tough Week 1 draws are concerned, this ranks towards the top. There is a real chance that the Browns winless streak in Week 1 continues, but if they were to come away with a win it would be a bit more special considering just how good the Chiefs are.
Game Recaps, Monsters

Monsters shut out by Griffins at home

Cleveland was held scoreless in the 2-0 loss to Grand Rapids. Sometimes all it takes is two penalties early in a game to determine the final outcome. That was the case Tuesday as the Cleveland Monsters found themselves on the wrong side of a 2-0 final score at home against the Grand Rapids Griffins. It was a boarding penalty for Gavin Bayreuther at the 8:44 mark in the 1st period which led to the Grand Rapids power play. The Griffins capitalized on that opportunity just a few minutes later to take a 1-0 lead. Later in the period it was Brandon Crawley who went to the box on a hooking penalty which set up another Griffins power play and again Cleveland was not able to kill the penalty. Just over a minute later Grand Rapids doubled their lead and scored what was the second and fin...
Game Recaps, Guardians

Ramirez, Hernandez homer in win over Cubs

Cleveland scored all of their runs on home runs in their 3-2 win over the Chicago Cubs. As per usual, the Cleveland Baseball Club scored all of their runs on home runs Tuesday night. Jose Ramirez was the first player to homer for Cleveland as he tied the game at 1 in the 4th inning. https://twitter.com/BallySportsCLE/status/1392258468736737281?s=20 Cesar Hernandez would follow up with a two-run shot to take the lead from Chicago. https://twitter.com/BallySportsCLE/status/1392267765487177745?s=20 This is pretty much how things have gone for Cleveland this season, when they score runs it is on the long ball. As far as pitching was concerned it was another spectacular performance from Shane Bieber. Bieber struck out eight batters in 6.2 innings, extending one MLB reco...
