Ramirez, Reyes expected to return Tuesday

Both players are expected to return to the Cleveland Baseball Club Tuesday after being banished from the clubhouse.

Jose Ramirez and Franmil Reyes violated and self-reported violations of the COVID-19 protocols this past weekend and are expected to return to the team Tuesday.

This was the second known violation for Reyes and the first for Ramirez.

The Cleveland Baseball Club has shown that they are taking the protocols and are enforcing the protocols when violations take place. Cleveland dealt with aforementioned violation by Reyes last year in addition to Delino DeShields early in the year. This was in addition to the much more public and chaotic situations involving Mike Clevinger and Zach Plesac. The team pretty much banished the latter two to the alternate site for as long as they could.

If there are any other players on the team that think they can get away with something the recent events involving Jose Ramirez and Franmil Reyes should deter them from committing their own violations.
