Guardians roasted by Sock Puppets
The now Cleveland Guardians were roasted by an Appalachian League team yet to play a game.
The reveal of the new name for the Cleveland Baseball Club, The Guardians, has met mixed reactions, but getting roasted by a minor league team yet to play a game was not necessarily expected. The Burlington Sock Puppets took their shot at the Guardians and did not miss.

This provided a good laugh for anyone in need of one. Everyone knows that minor league teams are silly and that this is all in good fun. The fact that the team roasting the Guardians is named the Sock Puppets is just the icing on the cake.
Baseball can be fun even when teams are taking shots at each other on Twitter!
