Cleveland looks to snap seven-game losing streak

The Cleveland Basball Club will look bounce back from their ridiculous loss and snap their seven-game losing streak Wednesday.

After losing in ridiculous fashion, the Cleveland Baseball Club will look to regroup and snap their seven-game losing streak Wednesday against the Cubs.

Aaron Civale will start for Cleveland and he has never faced the Cubs before. Civale has only faced one batter in the Chicago lineup previously and that is Cameron Maybin. Maybin is 1-5 with a double and 1 walk against Civale. The 25-year old right hander did not have his best outing last time as he allowed 4 runs on 7 hits in 6 innings in a loss to the Royals. While Civale did strike out 7 Kansas City batters, this was far from his best outing.

Jon Lester is starting for the Cubs and there are a few batters in the Cleveland lineup with success against him. Francisco Lindor is 4-11 with a solo homer and 1 walk against Lester. Franmi Reyes is 5-7 with 1 double and 1 home run and Carlos Santana is 6-20 with 1 doubles and 3 walks. Lester has been pretty hit or miss this season, allowing 0/1 run or allowing 5 or more.
