Wilson Ramos tears ACL, sprains MCL

The Cleveland Baseball Club catcher suffered a torn ACL and sprained MCL in Sunday’s win over the Boston Red Sox.

The 2021 season has come to an end for Wilson Ramos. The Cleveland Baseball Club catcher suffered a season ending ACL tear and MCL sprain in Sunday’s win over the visiting Boston Red Sox.

Wilson Ramos appeared in just nine games for Cleveland this season after beginning the season with the Detroit Tigers. This injury will keep Ramos out for a good portion of next season as well and considering his age (34) could impact his MLB future
