Mayfield was Jekyll and Hyde The one word that perfectly describes Baker Mayfield is inconsistent. The Browns quarterback made a couple of good throws, but also made his fair share of bad throws. His good throws include his touchdown passes to Jarvis Landry and Austin Hooper. Browns come away with ugly win over Eagles

The Cleveland Browns managed to come away with an ugly 22-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. It was another rainy Sunday in Cleveland and the Browns managed to defy the elements and come away with a win. Luckily for the Browns, the wind was not a factor and Cleveland overcame some absolutely ugly football. A couple of key plays at key times helped seal the win for Cleveland. Sione Takitaki scored the only points of the first half thanks to a pick six of Carson Wentz. Browns narrowly defeat Texans 10-7

The Cleveland Browns were able to hold on and defeat the visiting Houston Texans in an overall ugly game. It was another Cleveland Browns home game impacted by severe weather conditions (no graupel this time). Neither team was impressive on either side of the ball and it really came down to a few plays at the end which led to the Browns victory. Cleveland's offense was the duo of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. Chubb and Hunt combined to rush for 230 yards and 1 touchdown, Chubb's 59-yard rush in the 4th quarter essentially iced the game for Cleveland. Even though the final numbers are impressive, there were a few times before the 4th quarter when the offense struggled. The Cleveland Browns activated their quarterback off of the reserve/COVID-19 list after being placed on it earlier in the week. Baker Mayfield has been activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list after landing on it earlier in the week. Mayfield was considered to be in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, but the Browns quarterback did not test positive himself. The Cleveland Browns were not good in Week 8 as they lost to the Las Vegas Raiders and they are a team certainly in need of their upcoming bye week. The weather played a factor Cold, windy, wet, graupel? The weather was not kind to either team on Sunday. The Browns appeared to be less prepared to handle the elements as they were outplayed from beginning to end. Wind was definitely a factor in the passing game and precipitation did not help either. Players dropped passes and both kickers missed a field goal, funny enough that it wasn't Cody Parkey who doinked his miss. The Cleveland Browns quarterback has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week following his performance in Week 7. Baker Mayfield had quite the stat line in Cleveland's 37-34 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
