The Cleveland Baseball Club’s catcher and second baseman won Gold Gloves.
Three members of the Cleveland Baseball Club were up for Gold Gloves and two of them won. Roberto Perez and Cesar Hernandez ended up being Gold Glove winners.
This is the second straight Gold Glove for Perez and the first for Hernandez. Hernandez is the first Cleveland second baseman to win a Gold Glove since Roberto Alomar in 2001. Perez is the third catcher to win the award and this is the fifth overall in club history. Previous catchers to win the award include Sandy Alomar Jr. and Ray Fosse.
