Porter Gustin signed to active roster

In need of some depth on the defensive line, the Cleveland Browns have signed Porter Gustin to their active roster.

As a result of the season-ending injury to Takk McKinley, the Cleveland Browns have signed Porter Gustin to their active roster from the practice squad.

Gustin was originally elevated from the practice squad as a COVID-19 replacement as Cleveland needed everyone they could get to field a team.

Porter Gustin recovered a fumble in Monday’s contest which set the Browns up for their first touchdown of the game.

Mostly a rotational player, Gustin has played just 31% of defensive snaps this season while appearing in 58% of snaps on special teams. Gustin has 47 total tackles, two fumble recoveries, and one sack in 22 career games.
