The former Cleveland Browns running back and Madden NFL 12 cover athlete appeared in a teaser video for the upcoming cover athlete announcement.
One of the biggest days of the year is coming for fans of the Madden NFL franchise as they prepare to announce their cover athlete. Former Cleveland Browns running back and cover athlete of Madden NFL 12, Peyton Hillis, appeared in a teaser video for the upcoming cover athlete announcement. Judging by the content of the video there are some takeaways.
1. There are two goats in the video. Are they just goats or are they G.O.A.T.s?
2. This could be hinting towards Madden returning to a double athlete cover, the first and only time was in Madden NFL 10 with Troy Polamalu and Larry Fitzgerald. The fact that Peyton Hillis says that they’ve done it again points towards that possibility. Also, the text in the tweet also leans in that direction.
3. One goat is larger than the other, could that be some sort of hint or just a coincidence? Maybe it is a dual cover with Tom Brady, who previously appeared on a cover with a special GOAT edition, and another player rising up the legacy rankings. Possibly Patrick Mahomes? Considering the last dual cover featured two players from the previous Super Bowl this could be a possibility.
