The Cleveland Browns will be without the services of Odell Beckham Jr. in their Week 2 matchup against the visiting Houston Texans.
There was some hope that Odell Beckham Jr. would appear in the Browns Week 1 matchup in Kansas City but that did not come to fruition. The decision to have Beckham be inactive was made on game day and not ahead of time. That is not the case for Week 2 as Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski has already ruled out Beckham for their matchup with the Houston Texans.
#Browns coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters that WR Odell Beckham Jr won’t play on Sunday vs the #Texans. He tried to go last week and didn’t feel comfortable enough. Now, the coach takes it out of his hands a few days prior.

It appears that Odell Beckham Jr. is still not quite ready to go. Something else to consider is that Beckham is a player that the Browns need in order to beat the Chiefs. Considering they are playing a team on the opposite end of the spectrum talent wise Cleveland should be able to handle their business without the superstar receiver. If not, that opens up a whole different set of questions unrelated to Beckham.
