Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will not have charges pursued against him for his actions in LSU’s locker room.
Some good news for Odell Beckham Jr. The officer in the below video will not press charges against the Cleveland Browns wide receiver.
Things appeared as they were about to escalate for a brief moment before calming down. While Odell has avoided legal trouble, he still has some other issues. Mainly the issue regarding the money given out to LSU players following the game. The NCAA and Louisiana State University will probably have a word with him in regards to those matters. Odell Beckham Jr. was on the sideline during the game and came onto the field after the victory. Beckham was representing his alma mater, for better or worse. It was mostly for worse.
There is also the matter of his current employer, the Cleveland Browns. While the season is over, he still represents their franchise. Members of the Browns front office had to less than thrilled watching the events unfold Monday. The fact there was an arrest warrant issued does not help matters. Cleveland will have to evaluate his future with the franchise. It is possible that they determine that he is too much of a distraction. If that is the case, it is entirely possible he is wearing a new uniform next season. Letting their receivers coach Adam Henry leave to join the Cowboys may be a sign of things come. It could also very well be the first step in moving on from Odell Beckham Jr.
