Liam Foudy assigned to Cleveland Monsters

The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned the forward to the Cleveland Monsters, their American Hockey League affiliate.

It was a transaction filled day for the Columbus Blue Jackets as they have assigned forward Liam Foudy to the Cleveland Monsters of the American Hockey League.

Foudy has appeared in all of the Blue Jackets games since March 30th, failing to register a point.

Liam Foudy spent four games with the Cleveland Monsters before being recalled by Columbus earlier this season. Considering he was not able to build upon his success in the AHL prior to his recall, the Blue Jackets could be looking for Foudy to regain his form.

This move comes after the Monsters game against the Griffins was postponed and Kole Sherwood being recalled by Columbus and placed on the taxi squad.
