Kevin Stefanski: Good team win, corrections needed

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski stated that it was a good team win and that corrections still need to be made.

When meeting with the media Friday Kevin Stefanski shared his thoughts on the their 35-30 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Stefanski said that he thought it was a good team win.

Stefanski also mentioned that coaches are meeting with players because they have to make corrections. No team is perfect is which is why corrections are always necessary.

One notable play was the awful interception from Baker Mayfield. Mayfield forced a pass early in the 4th quarter to Austin Hooper and it gave the Bengals life. While Cleveland did win the game, this is the type of mistake that can lead to a loss against a better team.

Mayfield did not make a lot of mistakes in this game, however this was a play that has been seen time and time again with the third-year quarterback. Fixing this will not be easy (if it can be fixed), but turnovers from the quarterback are never acceptable.

Another play in need of correction is the hit from Andrew Sendejo on Tyler Boyd. Sendejo will not be suspended for the hit, but the fact of the matter is there is no place in the game for lowering his head on a hit.
