Kevin Love could return after All-Star break

The return of the Cleveland Cavaliers power forward may take a bit more time.

According to Chris Fedor or Cleveland.com, the return of Kevin Love may occur after the All-Star break. The Cleveland Cavaliers have been without Love since the third game of the season when he exited with an injury.

Considering the Cavs only have two games left before the break this seems to be a certainty. Kevin Love recently dealt with tightness in his calf following practice and the team has literally nothing to play for. Rushing him back for literally no reason whatsoever is foolish on multiple counts.

The reality is that the Cavs are one of the worst teams in basketball and before their current three game win streak lost 10 straight. There are going to be teams interested in trading for Kevin Love should the Cavaliers look to move him. Cleveland already has to deal with how they will handle the Andre Drummond situation. Dealing with Love on top of that will make things a bit more complicated for a front office that has produced mixed results at best in regards to roster construction.
