Kareem Hunt unlikely to play vs. Raiders

Kevin Stefanski stated Monday that it is unlikely that Kareem Hunt will play Saturday against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Cleveland Browns are facing the possibly that they will be without Kareem Hunt when they take on the Las Vegas Raiders. Hunt left Sunday’s win over Baltimore with an ankle injury and did not return.

Cleveland’s offense has been incredibly inconsistent this season and they really need all the help they can get. While Las Vegas is a team on a downward trajectory, being without additional skill position players is not optimal. As far as the rushing attack goes, it should be a heavy dose of Nick Chubb with D’Ernest Johnson sprinkled in. However the passing attack will need to provide their fair share of players in order to get a much needed win.

Kareem Hunt has been limited this season due to injuries and has missed five of Cleveland’s 13 games this season. Hunt has 78 carries for 386 yards and five touchdowns this season along with 22 receptions for 174 yards. Averaging 4.9 yards per carry, it is tied for career-high with his rookie season in 2017.
