John Dorsey comments on potential trade

John Dorsey turned some heads Wednesday with his comments in regards to a potential Trent Williams deal.

“It takes two to tango”. This is what John Dorsey said after being asked about the Trent Williams rumors. Cleveland has been rumored to be the landing spot for Washington’s left tackle since Tuesday evening and this comment will only fuel the rumors.

John Dorsey did confirm that the Browns have talked with the Redskins about Trent Williams. Dorsey also spoke about the state of the Browns offensive line and his desire for more consistency.

The struggles of Greg Robinson, Eric Kush and Chris Hubbard have been quite notable. This trio of lineman have not lived up to expectations and have made things difficult for the Browns offense this season. Opposing defenses have been attacking these three quite consistently because they know that going through Joel Bitonio and JC Tretter is a difficult task.

If things are going to turn around for the Browns offense it starts up front. John Dorsey wants a solution. The fans want a solution. Pretty safe to assume that Baker Mayfield wants a solution too. Dorsey and Freddie Kitchens will have the bye week to figure one out. Along with some other areas in need of attention.

Perhaps the Browns can find some options internally. Even though one of those options is now on the Rams. The Browns can look at the likes of Wyatt Teller, Kendall Lamm and Justin McCray. It is possible that one or all of these three are the answer they are looking for. That is of course if the Browns are unable to find their dance partner in the Washington Redskins and acquire an All-Pro talent in Trent Williams.
