The Cleveland Browns right tackle suffered a torn patella tendon and will miss the remainder of the season.
The worst fears were confirmed Monday as it was revealed that Jack Conklin will be out the rest of the season due to a torn patella tendon. Conklin suffered the injury in the Browns loss to Baltimore Sunday night.

Jack Conklin had just made his return from a dislocated elbow a few weeks prior and that was on top of already missing three games earlier this season. Being without Conklin for the final five games of the season will be a huge blow to a team clinging desperately to playoff hopes.
Perhaps the most damning aspect of the injury is that the Browns training staff was allowing Conklin to walk off the field by himself before a cart was called to take him off the field.

While it is understandable to want to walk off the field and avoid the cart, this should not have been an option for Conklin. The cart should have been immediately brought out to the field to take him. to the locker room.
