The Cleveland Guardians have officially unveiled their on-field hats. These will be the first hats the team wears under their new name.

Overall the look is expected and relatively uninspired. The team just swapped out the “Block C” hat for their new “Diamond C”. While expecting something different was far from realistic, this is just such an underwhelming reveal considering their similar font swap of the script version of their name, their uniforms, and now the on-field hat. There was a ton of potential from the onset, but apparently the path of least resistance was chosen across the board.
