The Cleveland Browns are set to be without the rookie cornerback in Los Angeles as he will miss his second straight game.
A tough task has gotten even tougher. The Cleveland Browns are going to be without impressive rookie corner Greg Newsome as they take on the Los Angeles Chargers Sunday.
#Browns HC Kevin Stefanski said rookie CB Greg Newsome II (calf) is the only injured player he’s ruling out today. Newsome won’t face #Chargers

This is the second consecutive game missed by Greg Newsome as he was also absent in Sunday’s 14-7 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Prior to the injury Newsome had two pass defenses on nine attempts in his direction in addition to seven tackles (five solo).
On a positive note, the Browns defense should be getting a boost as Anthony Walker has been designed to return from injured reserve by the team Wednesday.
